  1. An interesting idea, do you think that you could convince China and India's growing populations that they need to curb their demand as well (we still consume much more per capita of course)?

    I agree with the idea that food is relatively cheap, we went over that when you were doing the Urban Evolution project. However the political logistics tend to be the hardest part in making this work.

    It's the same reason we haven't made a switch over to personal resilience, we've had the technology for decades but trust has been the biggest factor keeping these kinds of groups from forming. The regulations are a small hurdle compared to "making" individuals trust each other.
